About the business
Zippe is redefining transportation by bridging the gap between convenience and social responsibility. Through their Home-2-School services in over 23 councils around the UK, and now their rideshare app, Zippe is committed to providing riders with safe, reliable, and ethical transportation that aligns with your values and needs.

The problem
Zippe had a logo but lacked a comprehensive brand identity, marketing strategy, and the necessary systems to manage customer interactions effectively. With ambitions to scale, they needed a structured approach to marketing, branding, and technology to support their Home-2-School and community transport services.

The solution
We began with an in-depth audit and strategy, outlining key marketing channels, KPIs, and a hiring plan. We then developed a full brand identity and website while ensuring their playful appeal remained intact. Next, we integrated HubSpot to automate operations and centralise customer data. We continue to support Zippe under our CMO subscription as they prepare for launch.

Developing a Cohesive Brand and Website
With the strategic foundation in place, we turned our attention to Zippe’s brand. While they had a logo, they lacked a cohesive brand identity. Given their Home-2-School service, it was important to maintain a child-friendly appeal while ensuring the brand remained professional and inclusive for all customer segments. We designed a full brand identity and a new website, ensuring the visuals and messaging reflected Zippe’s values. The website was ultimately built on Squarespace, their existing platform, to streamline implementation.

Creating a Strong Content Foundation
A compelling brand needs a clear and consistent voice. To ensure Zippe communicated effectively with its audience, we developed a comprehensive content strategy. This included drafting website content that captured their mission, values, and service offering in an engaging and accessible way.
We also built a PR media kit to help Zippe establish credibility and generate press coverage. The media kit provided journalists and stakeholders with key information about the company, its mission, and its services in a professional and easily digestible format.
Additionally, we crafted Zippe’s editorial identity, defining their tone of voice, key messaging, and content principles. This editorial framework now serves as the foundation for all copy on their website and future marketing materials, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
Integrating HubSpot for Operational Efficiency
Next, we focused on technology. HubSpot became the backbone of Zippe’s operations, with automated app actions triggering emails to drivers and riders, and Intercom feeding customer data into a centralised system. We also set up HubSpot as their primary social media management tool and created unique data fields that integrated seamlessly with the Zippe app, ensuring a single source of truth for customer insights.

Building the Marketing Team
Recognising the importance of social media in their marketing efforts, we helped interview and hire a social media manager to build Zippe’s online presence. With a dedicated resource in place, Zippe gained the capability to engage with their audience consistently and effectively.
Ongoing Support for a Successful Launch
With the brand, technology, and team in place, we continue working with Zippe under our CMO subscription to support their marketing and operations as they move closer to launch. Through a combination of strategy, branding, technology, and team-building, we have helped Zippe establish a strong foundation for growth, ensuring they are well-equipped to bring their community-driven transport service to market.
